Facade Design Review
Understand the Basis of Design for exterior finishes and the intended components for each system.
Let us review the project documents and dive into the plan logic, helping to ensure you have the full scope included in your bids. Identifying the basis of design, and potential alternates, is the foundation of success on any project bid. Returns, interior locations, and soffits can eat into profit margins when not accounted for.

Material Take-Offs
Once the Basis of Design and wall assembly have been determined, quantities and components of the specified systems are necessary.
Let us know which scopes you intend to bid. We reference plan logic from the elevations to enlarged details, capturing area and linear trims as drawn by the project design team and architect. Area alone can be enough for budgetary pricing bids. Complete material take-offs are necessary for final bids and ordering material to complete installations and fulfill the intended basis of design.

RFI Notations
Requests for Information (RFI) are used to clarify deficits in basis of design.
RFIs can take significant time to compile when clarification of the Basis of Design is needed. We are able to highlight questions that need resolved as we work through related scopes and the overall project design intent.

Shop Drawings
Shop drawings are the specific details ensuring the project meets the Basis of Design.
Project plans often lack sufficient specific details for the intended basis of design. Shop drawings will include project specific wall assembly details for the facade system, calling out the contractor's scope of work, to be approved by the architect. Once approved, the shop drawings are a project specific instruction manual, helping to ensure correct installation methods to achieve project requirements.

Scope Collaboration
Engaging with Architects, GCs, Contractors, Installers, and Suppliers.
Effective communication from the design team to suppliers and installers minimizes the field solutions required. Issues can often be resolved through shop drawings and reflected accurately in material take-offs, resulting in fewer change orders and installation delays.

Increase ROIs
Processes drive results. We drive the result of increased profit margins with our multi-layered approach to each project.
Accurate take-offs and project specific shop details will lower fill-in orders, time delays, and change orders. Thorough material estimations ensure that you spend monies on the correct materials. Have confidence in your material quantities from the outset. On site issues will arise, and you will have to react. Having money tied up in too much of the wrong thing dwindles profit margins quickly.
